Three men arrested and one hospitalised after fight outside Gildersome house

Police were called to Gildersome Lane at 10.44pm on Tuesday (December 22) to reports of a fight happening outside a house.

Officers were then called a short distance away to Street Lane, where they found a man who was taken to hospital with injuries that were considered serious but not life threatening.

Two men were arrested in Gildersome Lane on suspicion of affray and were later released on conditional bail while police investigate.

The man in hospital, who is still receiving treatment, was also arrested on suspicion of affray and bailed.

Crime scene investigators were at the scene yesterday examining a garage and a car parked outside the property.
