Three Leeds men arrested in Portsmouth after West Yorkshire robbery

Police in Portsmouth arrested three men from Leeds in connection with a robbery in West Yorkshire.

Officers on patrol in the Fratton area of the city intercepted a vehicle that was wanted by West Yorkshire Police, arresting three men shortly after 6.30pm last Thursday (April 8).

A 28-year-old man from Leeds was arrested on suspicion of being unlikely to surrender to custody in breach of bail conditions.

A 23-year-old man from Leeds was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit robbery and assisting an offender.

A 32-year-old man from Leeds was arrested on suspicion of robbery.

A spokeswoman from Hampshire Constabulary said: "All three have now been transferred to West Yorkshire Police as part of their investigation."
