A former Leeds United youth player caught dealing drugs in the city centre, a man who was found with a sawn-off shotgun and live ammunition in a car and a diabetic who blamed his condition for his attempts to rob women in their own cars, were all among the cases heard at Leeds Crown Court.
7. Rowan Hughes
Leeds drug addict Hughes stalked his 82-year-old mother and made her feel scared to leave her own home. He was banned from visiting her because he would often turn up to demand cash for his drugs, and on occasion, break in and steal. 8. Scott Crawford
Nuisance thief Scott Crawford who was banned from South Elmsall and Hemsworth as part of a criminal behaviour order (CBO), was caught stealing again and jailed. The 49-year-old has 173 offences to his name already. He was given the three-year CBO in February, but entered the no-go areas seven times and stole from shops, as well as a parcel from outside a resident's home.
