A cannabis dealer drove at 130mph as he tried to get away from police during a chase through Leeds. Simran Bhaker was jailed after a court heard how he put other drivers in danger during the 15 mile pursuit.
One of Leeds' most prolific burglars, Thomas Cawley, is back in jail over his latest crime spree in which he injured an elderly woman after targeting her home.
Accounts clerk Reece Burd stole 80,000 from the city centre letting agency where he work and used it to buy himself a BMW with a personalised number plate. Locked up for 16 months for abusing his position at Morgans City Living.

Pensioner Romany James, who dealt drugs from his flat just yards from a high school, has been jailed for more than seven years. He supplied heroin and crack cocaine through the grille of the front door of his home in Burmantofts.
Jason Emsley, 43, was also jailed after being involved in the drug dealing operation. Was seen being let into the flat by Romany James and being involved in the exchanges with the users later detained by officers.
Paranoid jealous thug Zachary Bowler beat his girlfriend up with a cricket bat and split her head open using a dumbbell. Also bit into his partners arm during one of the attacks after mocking her over the death of her mother.
