Temple View Road Leeds: Police launch investigation after man is shot in the leg in East End Park

A man has been shot in the leg in East End Park.

Police were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service at 9.30pm last night (Friday) to East Park Street after a 26-year-old man was found with an injury to his leg.

The injury is believed to have been caused by a gun.

The man was taken to hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A large cordon was in place near the One Stop and Post Office, in Temple View Road, with another smaller one at East Park Street itself.

Police said enquiries into what happened were ongoing.
