Teenager taken to hospital after being assaulted at West Yorkshire bus station

A teenager had to be taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries after being assaulted at a bus station in West Yorkshire.

The 14-year-old was assaulted at Keighley bus station on Friday January 29.

It happened at a 'busy time of day' between 3:00pm and 4:00pm near to the Cenotaph.

Police are appealing for witnesses and asking anyone who saw the incident to call police on 101 quoting crime reference number 13210049407.

PC 648 Mercer of Bradford District Investigation Team Police, said: “The incident happened at a busy time of day and I am appealing for anyone who saw the incident to call police on 101 quoting crime reference 13210049407.

“We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have recorded the incident on a mobile phone or other digital device.”

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was assaulted at Keighley bus station on Friday 29th January 2021.

"The incident happened between 3pm and 4pm near to the Cenotaph.

"A 14-year-old was left with injuries that required hospital treatment."
