A teenager was seriously injured in a hit and run in Hyde Park, Leeds.

The 18-year-old man was hit by a white BMW car on Brudenell Road at about 11.30pm on Saturday, March 7.

He was seriously injured in the crash and taken to hospital for treatment.

His injuries are not considered life threatening.

The driver of the car did not stop at the scene.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash.
