Teenager attacked and stabbed by gang of men in Lyndon Road Bramham

A 19-year-old man was stabbed in his arm and leg after being set upon by three men in the early hours of Sunday morning in Bramham.

Police received reports of men acting suspiciously in Lyndon Road shortly before 1.30am, as well as reports of a man having been assaulted by three other men.

Officers went to the scene and found a 19-year-old man with stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The victim told police he had been walking in the street when he was set upon by the three men who assaulted him and stole cash from him before they ran off towards Clifford Road.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Detectives are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in an incident in Bramham.

"At 1.26am yesterday (11/4) police received a report of males acting suspiciously in the street in Lyndon Road, with further reports of a male having been assaulted by three males.

"Officers attended and found a 19-year-old man with stab wounds to his arm and leg. He was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries were not life threatening.

"The victim told officers he had been walking in the street when he was approached by the three males who assaulted him and took cash from him before they ran off in the direction of Clifford Road.

"Officers from Leeds District Crime Team are carrying out enquiries into the incident and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could assist the investigation.
