The 18-year-old man failed to stop for police at around 8.25pm in Harehills on Sunday, June 18.

After a short pursuit, the Nissan Micra car crashed into a house in Florence Street.

The man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, having no insurance and no licence.

He was later released under investigation while enquiries continue.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed that a scene remains in place on Monday while the building is assessed for structural damage.
