Teenager and 47-year-old man assaulted in Leeds

A teenager and a man in his 40s were both injured after being assaulted in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police were called to Swarcliffe Parade, in Swarcliffe, shortly after 5.30pm on Friday (Oct 9) following the reports of an assault.

The force said the two people involved were not seriously injured and did not go to hospital. Officers are continuing to investigate the incident.

A statement by West Yorkshire Police said: "At 5.37pm yesterday (Oct 9) police were called to reports of a 17-year-old male and a 47-year-old man having been assaulted in Swarcliffe Parade, Leeds.

"The victims were not seriously injured and declined to attend hospital.

"Enquiries are ongoing into the incident."
