Teen suffers head injuries in attack in Leeds


A teenager is in hospital with head injuries after being assaulted in Leeds.
The 17-year-old was allegedly attacked on Swallow Mount, near the junction with Silver Royd Hill in Wortley, yesterday afternoon.
Inspector Steve Williamson, of the Pudsey Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Officers were called to a report of an assault in Swallow Mount, Leeds, at 3.20pm on Monday.
“A 17-year-old male youth was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with head and facial injuries.”
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
