Wakefield takeaway terror returned to jail for desperate break-ins
A desperate burglar who targeted takeaways in Wakefield has been returned to prison.
Christopher Mosby admitted breaking into shops and attempting to gain access to others.
The 37-year-old smashed his way into one premises in June of last year, but did not take anything.
However, he left a bloodstain on the counter, Leeds Crown Court heard.

His main offending took place in the early hours of January 29 this year.
He first smashed his way into Diallo Express on Westgate but again left empty handed.
He also broke into Italia Express on Westgate, and attempted and failed to break into The Codfather on Townley Road and Pizza Yard on Kirkgate.
He was later arrested and found in possession of crowbars and gloves, prosecutor Oishee Dey said.
Homeless Mosby admitted three non-dwelling burglaries, two attempted non-dwelling burglaries and one count of going equipped for burglary.
He has 49 previous convictions to his name for more than 100 offences.
Mitigating, Nicholas Hammond said it was a “sad situation”, that Mosby had been released from his last sentence, was left homeless and “regrettably resorted to type” in order to survive.
He said Mosby was recalled until December of this year.
Judge Tahir Khan KC gave him a six-month sentence.
