Stolen goods tracked down and two arrested following police chase in Leeds

Two people have been arrested following a police chase in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit (RPU) spotted a wanted vehicle in Middleton which tried to drive off from officers.

Two suspects ran from the car and were caught by officers following a foot chase.

The car was found to have been used in three thefts, with stolen goods still in the vehicle.

Both suspects were arrested.

The RPU tweeted: "Vehicle sighted police and tried to duck off. The occupants ran from the car and were chased and detained by police.

"The car had been used in three thefts, with the stolen property from one still in the vehicle Both arrested. Driver had no licence or insurance."
