Six teenagers arrested after woman is seriously assaulted following Leeds phone snatch

A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after she was assaulted by a group who snatched her phone.

Tuesday, 10th March 2020, 6:00 am

The victim, who is in her twenties, was approached by a group in Church Row, near the Lamb and Flag pub, at 6.30am on Sunday, March 8.

She followed the group onto Langton's Wharf on The Calls to try to get her phone back.

The suspects then assaulted the woman, causing her a serious head injury.

Six people, aged 12 to 15, were arrested in connection with the incident and have been released under investigation.
