Anderson was arrested after his DNA was recovered from the victim's clothing.

He pleaded guilty to robbery and sexual assault.

The court heard Anderson has previous convictions for robbing lone females at night in Leeds city centre

"I was completely powerless and in complete fear."

Richard Reed, mitigating, said Anderson committed the offence after he had been drinking and taking crack cocaine.

Mr Reed said Anderson was under financial pressure at the time because his partner was pregnant.

The barrister said: "It was never intended to be a sexual assault.

"It has caused him considerable embarrassment. He has never been involved in a sexual assault on a male or a female.

"Had he not been intoxicated at the time this would not have happened."
