A quad bike rider was seriously injured in a crash near Woodlesford Railway Station.

The crash happened on Station Lane at about 12.45am on Tuesday, June 16.

It involved a road-registered red Polaris Sportsman quad bike.

The quad bike collided with a concrete pillar and metal pole at the junction to the train station car park.

The 26-year-old driver, who is from the local area, was seriously injured.

He remains in hospital.

Officers from West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision itself or saw the quad bike in the time leading up to it, particularly anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
