Kellett, 48, of Crawshaw Road, Pudsey, was interviewed about the offending and initially claimed to have accessed the images by mistake as he searched for adult pornography.

Ms Hussain said Kellett later went on to accept the offending.

He pleaded guilty to 15 counts of making an indecent image of a child.

Sean Smith, mitigating, said Kellett pleaded guilty to the offences at an early stage.

Kellett was given a 12-month prison sentence, suspended for two years.

He was also ordered to complete 25 rehabilitation activity requirement days and do 150 hours of unpaid work.

Kellett was placed on the sex offender register for ten years and was made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order.

Judge Batiste said: "Be under no illusion. If you ever do access child pornography again you will go straight to prison.

"There is no doubt about it."
