Police to patrol Roundhay Park during day and night following recent spate of robberies

West Yorkshire Police officers will be patrolling a north Leeds park following recent robberies there.

The force's off-road bike team have said they will be conducting "multiple patrols" around Roundhay Park.

These will be at various hours of the day and night to "help keep everyone safe".

It follows some recent robberies in the area.

North east Leeds officers told local residents about the patrols on social media: "Due to some recent robberies in Roundhay Park the Leeds District Off-Road Bike Team will be conducting multiple patrols at various hours of the day and night to help keep everyone safe."
