Police tent in place as forensics officers search Harehills property

Officers in white suits were seen in Back Sandhurst Road, off Harehills Lane, late on Friday afternoon.

A police tent was also in place in Back Sandhurst Road, opposite the Troy Autopoint repair centre.

Officers were searching a property between Sandhurst Road and Back Sandhurst Road.

They could be seen removing items from a property and taking them into the tent.

When contacted by the Yorkshire Evening Post, West Yorkshire Police could only confirm limited information.

A spokesman said: "This is an ongoing search in connection with a missing person's enquiry."

It is understood that no one has been injured at the scene.
