Police recovered a stolen car following a chase in Seacroft.

The car had been stolen from North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit said in a tweet.

The driver failed to stop for officers in Seacroft and was pursued by the unit.

Officers caught up with the vehicle before arresting both occupants for a number of offences, police said.

The vehicle will be "going back to the owner" following the successful chase, police confirmed.
