Police launch appeal after 22-year-old off-road motorcyclist dies in West Yorkshire crash

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a 22-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash in Castleford.

The crash took place at about 6.30pm on Thursday, September 24 on Borrowdale Drive, Castleford.

An off-road motorcycle was hit by a blue Fiat 500 car.

The motorcyclist, a 22-year-old man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The female driver of the car was uninjured.

Officers investigating the circumstances of the collision are asking anyone who witnessed it, or may have DashCam footage relevant to the enquiry, to contact them at the West Yorkshire Police Major Collision Enquiry Team on 101, or via the online LiveChat, quoting log number 1385 of 24/09/20.
