Leeds police officer Ste Richardson said on social media that he arrested a 13-year-old boy on Saturday morning for refusing to give him details.

A statement issued by West Yorkshire Police on Monday clarified that the boy did give his details once he reached custody, and was found to be wanted for robbery offences - but no further action was taken after an interview.

The statement said: "Police were called to Middleton Park in the early hours of Saturday morning to reports of anti-social behaviour.
