Police investigating armed robbery at The Springs Leeds release picture of vehicle

Police investigating an armed robbery at The Springs retail park have released images of a vehicle involved in the offence.

The blue Audi, bearing the registration NA15 CHK, is believed to have been used by the armed suspects in the incident, which took place at The Springs at Thorpe Park Retail Park at about 11.20am on Friday, September 25.

Staff members were attacked during the incident, police confirmed.

A total of four suspects holding knives made demands before leaving with a large quantity of electrical equipment in the car, which left from the South entrance of the car park.

Detective Constable Glenn Dent, of Leeds District CID, said: “This was a nasty incident and we’re keen to speak to anyone who witnessed it, or anyone who saw this vehicle as it made its way to and from The Springs on the 25 September.”

Anyone who can assist this investigation is asked to contact DC 0855 Dent at Leeds District CID on 101 or by using the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website.

The crime reference number is 13200481335.
