Police were called to a Leeds marina after a group of more than 30 youths urinated on canal boats.

Officers went to Lemonroyd Marina in Methley on Saturday, May 30 after complaints from people on the canal.

They had contacted police to complain about the behaviour of youths in the area.

Police dispersed three large groups of more than 30 youths.

A spokesman from the Leeds East team said: "Officers from Leeds East and South have carried out patrols around Lemonroyd Marina this afternoon in response to complaints from other canal users about the behaviour of youths in the area who had been urinating on boats.

"Officers dispersed 3 large groups of over 30 youths.

"We will return again as often as we can. If you are aware of any ASB in the area please call.
