Although he had some cash in the wallet, the victim was devastated to have lost sentimental items which he would like back - including a lock of his late wife's hair.

There were some photographs of children and a picture of the man when he was in the army.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "An officer has seized the CCTV footage which shows two males follow him and one male taking the wallet from his back pocket.

"Enquiries are ongoing into the identity of the two males, but we are hoping they have discarded the wallet nearby."

The wallet is black leather with brass corners.

If anyone finds it or has any information, contact police by calling 101 or visit Normanton Police Station, quoting reference number 13200513523.
