Police appeal after woman assaulted and robbed 87-year-old man in his own home in Ilkley

The incident took place at a property on Blackthorn Road in Ilkley at around 10:55am on Monday, March 29.

A woman gained access to the building and entered the 87-year-old man's flat.

She for forcibly grabbed some money from the victim and pushed him off balance.

She then fled the scene.

The suspect was described as a white female, in her 40s, 5ft 8”, thin build and with short dark hair.

Enquiries are ongoing.
