Pictures show crashed van as police search for driver who escaped from Boston Spa scene

Officers from the north east Leeds team dealt with a crash this week on Clifford Moor Road at Boston Spa.

Pictures show the van which was involved in the collision, which has now been recovered by police.

Police are now tracing down the driver after they left the scene of the crash.

A post on the West Yorkshire Police Leeds North East Facebook page said: "Good morning, here's a picture from a road traffic collision officers dealt with this week on Clifford Moor Road at Boston Spa.

"The driver of the van left the scene and we have now recovered the vehicle and will be tracing the driver."
