One man taken to hospital and two men arrested after domestic incident in Cross York Street

Two men were arrested after an incident in Leeds city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police were called to Cross York Street, close to Kirkgate Market and Leeds bus station, at 5.25am.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of affray and one man was taken to hospital.

It was a domestic incident, according to a West Yorkshire Police spokesman.

A police cordon was blocking the road on Sunday while crime scene investigators went in and out of a block of flats.

No one has been charged and the investigation is now over.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "The scene was in relation to a domestic incident at an address in Cross York Street that police were called to at 5.25am on Sunday.

"Two men were arrested on suspicion of affray.

"One man was treated at hospital.

"Both were later released without charge and the investigation finalised."
