Officers patrol Leeds area after reports of drug dealing

Neighbourhood policing officers worked with specialist violent crime officers to police the area on Monday, June 8.

Several individuals were stopped, spoken to and searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A warning was issued to a motorist for driving in an anti-social manner.

One male was arrested for proceeds of crime offences.

An amount of cash was seized along with a bike.

West Yorkshire Police said they will continue to work alongside partner agencies and the local community to address and tackle the ongoing issues in relation to drug related offences across the area.

Inspector Mick Preston said, “This is another example of the continuous and concerted efforts undertaken by the East Leeds Neighbourhood Policing Team in conjunction with others to target criminality and make people feel safer”.

“If anyone has any information to help us target those suspected of offending, they can contact the Police online using the CLickB4UCall system, dialling 101 or anonymously by calling CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111”.
