Here are nine atrocious criminals who were sentenced in Leeds this week.
Their crimes include a predator who systematically abused three young girls, with a judge telling him “you have an entrenched sexual interest in children.”
Also sentenced at Leeds Crown Court this week, was a thug who attacked his partner on a night out with such brutality that one shocked witness said the victim was left “destroyed”.

7. Declan Needham
Declan Needham, 29, was sentenced to six years and nine months after he was found with £600k worth of drugs and weapons stashed at his address on Halton Moor Avenue. Officers found five kilograms of heroin, one kilogram of cocaine and a small amount of cannabis. His partner, Chloe Britton, 25, was ordered to complete 100 unpaid work hours after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply cannabis. | WYP
8. Nicholas Ward
Thug Nicholas Ward has been jailed for five years and given a 10-year restraining order after he attacked his partner on a night out with such brutality that one shocked witness said the victim was left “destroyed”. Ward, of Fitzwilliam Street, Kinsley, who has a history of violence, punched the victim and stamped on her face in front of others and leaving her covered in blood. | WYP
9. Cale Lodge
Pervert Cale Lodge, who traded abuse images and had thousands of sickening videos and photos stored, has been jailed for 64 months after he admitted a string of offences. 98 child-abuse images and videos were found on the 28-year-olds phone when he was arrested. He was also given a 10-year sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) to curb his internet use and put on the sex offender register for life. | WYP / YEP
