Police have released pictures of a naked man who took a nude stroll wearing just hiking boots, a baseball cap and a watch in a wooded area in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire last summer.

The force said the man, aged between 50 and 60, was caught performing a sex act on himself while a number of people, including children, were in the area of Nidd Gorge.

Investigating officers issued images of the man on January 4 who they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The man is described as white, aged between 50 and 60 and was naked apart from dark coloured hiking boots, a baseball cap and a black watch.

“He had noticeable tan lines around his legs and carried clothing in his left hand.
