Motorist crashes through wall and into row of parked cars at Moortown Co-op in Harrogate Road

A motorist crashed through a wall outside a supermarket in Moortown and hit a row of parked cars.

It happened before lunchtime today (Wednesday) outside the Co-op Food in Harrogate Road, Moortown.

The vehicle smashed through the wall and ended up in the forecourt.

Police at the scene said the driver of the car was an elderly woman.

There are not thought to be any serious injuries.

A truck has arrived to remove the damaged car this afternoon.
