Middleton crash: Police close Thorpe Lane in Leeds following multi vehicle crash

A busy road in Leeds is closed following a multi-vehicle crash.

West Yorkshire Police were called to Thorpe Lane (A654), near Middleton, at 7.15am on Thursday.

Four vehicles had been involved in a crash.

A police spokesman said injuries were reported, although they are not thought to be serious.

A road closure is in place on Thorpe Lane at the junction with Middleton Park Avenue.

Emergency services remain at the scene investigating the crash.
