McDonald's launches investigation in Leeds after shocking actions of security guard

McDonald's has launched an investigation after a video emerged showing a security guard kicking a man in the head outside a Leeds branch.

The video, which was taken by a bystander and has been widely shared on social media, shows the shocking incident outside McDonald's on Merrion Street.

A security guard, who works for a security company at McDonald's, is shown kicking a man in the head as he is laid on the floor.

The guard waves his fists at the man before he runs off down Albion Street.

McDonald's has launched a full investigation into the incident and says the man will not be working at any of its restaurants while the investigation is ongoing.

A McDonald's spokesperson said: “It is completely unacceptable to see anyone behaving this way, and we are in the process of fully investigating the incident.

"The individual in question works for an external security company and will not be on duty at any of our restaurants while the investigation is ongoing."
