Manor Farm Drive incident: Armed police make two arrests in south Leeds after man 'threatened with axe'

Two men have been arrested by armed officers following a serious incident in south Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police were called to Manor Farm Drive, Middleton, at 11.10am on Monday following reports that a man had been threatened with an axe.

Armed officers rushed to the scene and closed the road to traffic.

Two men, aged 34 and 59, were arrested in connection with the incident.

They remain in police custody.
