Man taken to hospital with serious injuries after collision between cyclist and driver at junction of Whitehouse Lane and Wakefield Road
A cyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a driver near Garforth today (Tuesday).
Police were called to the junction of Wakefield Road and Whitehouse Lane at about 8.15am.
The male cycle rider suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital, a West Yorkshire Police spokesman said.
Road closures were put in place while the man was treated and investigation work was carried out, with roads reopening later in the morning.
