Detectives are appealing for witnesses following the crash in Bradford on Monday night (April 12).

Officers were called shortly after 11pm on Monday to reports of a man being injured on Fairway, Bradford.

Police said they had received reports of a gathering at a house on the Fairway and then an argument outside the address.

A man was hit by a car, which then fled the scene, police said.

Emergency services and ambulance attended the scene and found a man in his 20s with serious injuries.

He was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment and he remains there in a critical condition, police confirmed.

Three women aged 42, 44 and 44 all from Bradford have been arrested in connection with this incident and remain in police custody at this time.

A scene is still in place whilst officers continue with their enquiries.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, saw the vehicle involved or has any further information to come forward and speak to the police to assist with the ongoing investigation.
