Wakefield: Man charged with manslaughter over the death of Stephen Jedynak

Detectives investigating the death of a man in Wakefield have charged a man with manslaughter.
Hamza Shafique, 27, of Maidstone Street in Bradford has been remanded in custody to appear before Leeds Magistrates’ Court today (January 10).
The charge relates to the death of Stephen Jedynak, 72, who died in hospital on Saturday, December 27, after being found unresponsive at his home in Crofton three days earlier.
Three other men, aged 23, 26 and 32, who were also arrested as part of the investigation have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
