Man charged with assaulting paramedic and breaching Covid restrictions after gathering at Leeds business

Three people have been charged after what is believed to have been an illegal party at a businesses premises in Leeds.

Police were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to help with an incident in Park Place in Leeds city centre, shortly after 8.30pm on Friday night.

Two men and a woman were arrested.

A 36-year-old man was charged with assaulting a paramedic, resisting a police officer, and breaching coronavirus restrictions in relation to a gathering.

A 53-year-old man was charged with obstructing a police officer and breaching coronavirus restrictions in relation to a gathering.

They are both due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court on February 11.

A 31-year-old woman received a conditional caution in relation to obstructing a police officer.
