Man charged over Leeds rape LATEST

A MAN has been charged with rape following an attack on a 54-year-old woman in Leeds at the weekend.

Mark Wilkinson, 27, of East Grange Close, Belle Isle, was due to appear before magistrates in the city this morning.

He has been charged with two counts of rape in connection with the attack, which took place on Saturday night on a disused railway line close to Tulip Retail Park in Hunslet.
