A man could be seen in handcuffs in the shopping area, which also contains Greggs, One Below bargain shop and Coach gym, shortly before 9pm last night (Thursday).

The incident had nothing to do with the shops.

Police officers were called to the area after receiving reports of suspected drug dealing in Kirkstall Road.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of money laundering and possession of an offensive weapon.

A car was also recovered by police.

The man remains in custody and enquiries are ongoing, a police spokesman said.
