Man arrested on suspicion of murder after woman dies in Harehills

Officers were called to the property in Hovingham Terrace, Harehills, at 5.29am today (September 24) and the 39-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance staff.

A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in custody.

A scene is in place around the address in Hovingham Terrace and enquiries are ongoing by West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Enquiry Team.
