Man arrested on drugs charges after crashing into car during police chase in Burley

A man has been arrested on drugs charges after crashing into a car during a police chase in Burley, Leeds.

It happened shortly after 11pm on Saturday, May 22.

A black Volkswagen Golf did not stop when signalled to by the police.

It then crashed into a white Volkswagen Golf in Bankfield Road.

A 26-year-old man was detained nearby.

He was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment for a broken arm being taken into custody.

He was later released under investigation.
