Man arrested as Leeds police raid cannabis farm with 150 plants in Beeston
A man has been arrested after police raided a cannabis farm in south Leeds.
Officers from the Leeds South Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) carried out a search warrant in Beeston on Thursday morning.
They forced entry into a property which had a number of locks on the front door.
A cannabis farm with 150 plants was discovered inside the building.
A man was arrested at the scene and police enquiries are ongoing.
In a statement issued on Facebook, the Leeds South NPT said: "This morning Team 3 Inner South officers have conducted a warrant in the Beeston area.
"I guess from the locks on the door they didn’t want us inside! Found in the address was an adult male and over 150 cannabis plants. Male arrested, enquiries are ongoing.
"Please continue to give us your information, we do act on it."
