Man arrested after emergency worker assaulted in South Leeds

A man has been arrested following an assault on an emergency worker in the South Leeds area.

The man was also in possession of drugs and intended on supplying them to others.

He has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and possession of drugs with the intent to supply them.

Neighbourhood policing officers from West Yorkshire Police's Leeds South team made the arrest.

A post on the West Yorkshire Police Leeds South Facebook page said: "NPT Inner South Team 3 have arrested a male for Assault on Emergency worker and Possession with the Intention to Supply Drugs."
