Man arrested after cannabis farm found in West Leeds


He was arrested for production of cannabis after the crop was found in the Bramley area.
His arrest comes as part of a three-days of 'proactive action' from Leeds West officers.

Hide AdIn the past two days, officers have conducted a traffic operation in Pudsey where they issued fixed penalty tickets to drivers.


25 vehicles were dip tested for red diesel and one vehicle was tested positive.
A £540 fine was issued by HMRC.
Officers also conducted tenancy sweeps of a tower block in the Armley area alongside Leeds Council.
A number of bikes were then seized in the Calverley area.
A spokesman for the Leeds West team said: "Officers from the Leeds West Team are having a 3 day proactive days of action.

Hide Ad"Over the past 2 days officers have been working alongside a number of external agencies including Leeds City Council, DVLA, HMRC and Leeds anti-social behaviour team.
"In Armley, officers have been conducting tenancy sweeps of tower block in the Armley area with Leeds council.
"A traffic operation has been conducted in Pudsey area where a number of fixed Penalty tickets have been issued. 25 vehicles were dipped tested for red diesel – 1 x vehicle tested positive - £540 fine issued by HMRC.
"The off-road bike team have also been involved in the operation and have seized a number of bikes including the quad in the photos from the Calverley area.
"A male was arrested for production of cannabis in the Bramley area."
The three day operation is due to end today.
