Man arrested after cannabis farm discovered in Beeston

A man has been arrested after a cannabis farm was found in Beeston.

Officers were tipped off by members of the community.

West Yorkshire Police raided a property in the Cross Flatts area of Beeston on Friday, where they found the farm.

The force's Leeds South team posted on Facebook: "Acting on community intelligence a cannabis farm was discovered yesterday (Friday 1st May) evening in the Cross Flatts area of Beeston, Leeds.

"One male was arrested from the address and enquiries are ongoing.
