Man and woman arrested after police seize drugs, designer clothes and a £34,000 Rolex watch in Meanwood house raid

Two people have been arrested after police executed a search warrant on a house in Leeds.

Police searched the house in Meanwood on Friday, March 12 under the misuse of drugs act.

Officers said that a 'large amount' of both Class A and Class B drugs were found and seized inside, along with an 'extensive collection' of designer clothing and jewellery.

These were seized under the proceeds of crime act and included a Rolex watch worth around £34,000.

A man and a woman were both arrested at the scene and are under investigation by police.

West Yorkshire Police revealed the seizure in a post on social media which said: "On Friday 12th March, officers from Leeds North West NPT, assisted by North East NPT executed a warrant in the Meanwood area of Leeds.

"Upon entering, a large amount of both Class-A & Class-B drugs were found & seized under the misuse of drugs act. Also found was an extensive collection of designer clothing & jewellery, including a Rolex watch, worth around £34,000, which were seized under the Proceeds of Crime act.

"A man and a woman were both arrested at the scene & are currently under investigation."
