Holly said she was storing some clothes in the car while awaiting the purchase of a new wardrobe.

However, the clothes turned to ash in the blaze and she has now been left furious at the theft.

She said: "Inside the car was most of my wardrobe.

"My clothes were in there as we were in the process of buying me one and I had nowhere to store the clothes.

"Seeing my belongings in the car burnt is such an awful feeling."

Pictures of the burnt out car had previously been posted on social media in a bid to find the owner.

Holly's car had been stolen but she didn't believe the pictures of the vehicle showed her car.

Holly said this was the second time in the month her car had been stolen.

Holly said: "Looks like the joke was on me.

"It turns out the car that was burnt out in Stanningley Park was infact mine.

"They'd cloned an old ladies plates, stuck a poppy on the front and burnt my car to pieces."

Holly has now been left "worried and stressed" due to issues with her insurance company paying out after the theft.

A GoFundMe page has been set up by a friend in order to raise funds for a new vehicle.

Holly added: "Cars are a luxury and I sadly don't have a disposable income to buy another just like that."
