Leeds police seize bags of drugs and cash in Bramhope after swooping on runaway car

In the early hours of Thursday morning, a car failed to stop for police in Holt Park. Officers from the Leeds North West Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) later found the car in Bramhope and searched the vehicle and its occupants.
Police seized several bags of class A and class B drugs, as well as drug-related paraphernalia and cash. Both the driver and the passenger were arrested.

Hide AdIn a statement released on Facebook, the Leeds North West NPT said: “In the early hours of this morning, a car failed to stop for officers in the Holt Park area. It was later found parked in Bramhope, where the vehicle and its occupants were searched.
“The search located several bags of suspected Class A and B drugs, along with cash and other drug-related paraphernalia. The driver also tried to provide false details. This didn't work and it was confirmed that he was a disqualified driver.
“The vehicle was seized, both the driver and passenger arrested and enquiries continue.
